More detailed information about the snowpack:

2/15/17 Table Mountain (Bardini Canyon)

Surface snow conditions in Bishop Bowl and on Table Mountain consisted mainly of near surface facets, .1-.3mm and rimed surface hoar in protected locations (.3-.5mm) on NW-N-NE aspects and provided quite good skiing conditions on top of the thick P-P+ hard layer below. This F hard layer is 10-30cm deep in these locations. E-S-SW slopes were much more prone to the MFcrust noted in an earlier observation.

At 10,100' on a NNE aspect on Table Mt. dug a quick test pit, Shovel Tilt Hard found a Q1 SP result on a layer down 40cm, though no results on CT or ECT.

Winds increasing from Light to Moderate on ridges, with notable snow transport occuring.
