Avalanche Beacon Training

The Mammoth Mountain avalanche training facility is up and ready for all of us to practice our companion rescue skills. The "Beacon Basin" facility is located between St Moritz and Jill's run and is accessible from the east end of Main Lodge. There is no charge for using the facility. Three beacons are buried so get out there and practice because new snow is coming!
