20100111- Fern Creek to Devil's Slide

Found good skiing this morning in Fern Creek. 3 inches of new snow (Saturday night's weather...) on consistent windboard. Did the short climb up into the Devil's slide- great for about 1/3, down to about 8500 feet- then heinous rain crust- bulletproof in places, breakable in others. Also from Saturday night's weather. This thing'll haunt our lower altitudes for a while...
