Bardini chutes

Dug a pit at the top of one of the Bardini chutes yesterday (2/6). Only checked the top 1.5 meters, new snow (12") broke easily and cleanly with a Rutschblock #3 but not with a column compression test. Skied the steep glades skiers right of the chutes without incident, surface sloughs would gain momentum but not propagate.
