Lundy Canyon Chutes

Toured into the back of Lundy Canyon yesterday, past Scowden to take a look at the north facing chutes that are at the western most end of the canyon. All are pretty well filled in, though several have quite a bit of blue ice (could be some good climbing!?).

Most of the major north facing lines on Scowden are in, but another storm would help fill in the surrounding terrain and open up some more options.

We skied a 40d north facing couloir that held pretty good snow once you got in past the top a bit. Like everywhere open, the wind has done it's thing up there too...
