More detailed information about the avalanche: 

Red Cone Bowl, West facing slope.  Ran about 300'.  Avalanche viewed by Mam Mtn Ski Patrol from Mammoth Mtn.  Hard to see crown, but did appear to run naturally between 10am and 11am.
