This slide occurred sometime in the past few days, probably 3/9 or 10. I post this not because the slide was so huge or so scary. The conditions under which this slope slid are now past. I post this because it occurred on what may be the Eastside avalanche terrain most traveled by non-skiers or avalanche savvy folks. Special Human Factors here (and in the Whitney Area. I also posted observations from that area this week).

Two other crown lines observed at the "head" of the canyon- well up from the ice climbing area, but in the normal Ellery Bowl ski or snowboard descent zone.
