Tempertures dropping and winds increasing due to in-coming mini low pressure system.

Snowpack & Snowpit Observations
Information about the snowpack/snowpit: 

Lower entry into canyon: packed snow too difficult to skin and icy in areas. Lower half of Canyon: ski-pole puncture test revealed approx 15-18inches of heavy consolidating snow below approx 1inch breakable-crust.
