Date:

Observer's Email:

Observation Type:
Snowpack
Avalanche
Route:
Skinned up north eastern side of Red Mountain up to ridge. We noticed that there was no longer any whoomping sounds that were previously posted a few days ago. We skied over variable snow conditions with some light powder stashes. As we were descending we noticed that the main gully did slide from the very top, I would think this happened a few days ago. The 500 feet of powder that we did ski seemed very dry, and almost hore frost like. We skied the trees and then down to the main low angle bowl.
Weather:
The weather was calm with light snow showers, visibility was descent.
