Variable Snow on Mt TomObservations
Climbed to 10300’ on the north arm of Mt Tom this morning. No signs of instability apart from some rollerballs in the early afternoon. Solar slopes were really baking today. Some patches near rocks are starting to corn. Surface snow was a mixed bag of increasing wind affect ATL, settled powder in protected zones, and breakable refreezing crusts down low.
