With a nice break in the storm today, Ben and I made our way out to Bishop Creek to poke around a bit. It was a beautiful day out, Light to Moderate winds from the West, with scattered to broken skies (but plenty of sun shine). From the South Lake Rd/168 junction we skinned up a low angle ridge to the base of the popular Bardini Canyon. Snow was variable from 10cm 1F wind board to fresh storm snow with up to 40cm of Ski Pen. We dug a pit at the base of Bardini Canyon and conducted a full profile. See photo for reference.
