Cautiously checked the backyard along the trail behind Habeggers just round 8500'. We got about 1" new snow on Sunday. Uneven crunchy surface and wind accumulation; only the top crust was breaking under the skis. Some rollers from when it was warmer, and one small recent slide on the west aspect. Note that South Lake Rd is still officially closed, but it's not worth coming up here for these conditions anyway. Most of today was well above freezing temps.
