Observations

While riding the low angle trees near Dempsey’s We observed 4 human triggered and 1 natural WS avalanches. Beginning approximately at 10:30am from the meadow we observed a fresh slide lookers left of mammoth rock, soon after a boarder rode out from the flank and proceeded across the slope under mammoth rock. They stopped, transitioned and began skinning across the slope then was caught and carried but not buried in a slide that they triggered. After our first lap in the trees we came out and observed the debris in Dempsy’s. Prior to our descent we saw a group above Dempsy’s ski down to the ridge skiers left. Soon after seeing the debris we saw 3 skiers ski down skiers right of Dempsy’s, we checked in with the group. They reported no one had been caught and the slide had been remotely triggered. Everyone was accounted for. Returning to do another lap in the trees we looked up and saw the Fingers had a huge crown. We were able to to see tracks just above the far lookers right of the crown and confirm that person was not caught and had skied down. That slide appears to have been remotely triggered as well. Looking up at the crown we then saw another crown in the perch which was a natural. The time was approximately 1:00pm.
