Skied up and over McGee this morning, departing the Convict TH at 6:15am after leaving a car at McGee Creek. Original plans had us going over Mt. Aggie but a mediocre freeze and very warm temps led us to reconsider and descend McGee via an ESE aspect.
Descended at 10:15am. E aspect at 10,500' was already getting soft and punchy. SE aspects were supportable and skied well, though the more S the better. Wouldn't have wanted to be any later, and given the temps a 9:30am descent would have been better.
