We into the Virginia Creek drainage from the road closure at 8300' up to 11700' in the Southeast Gully on Dunderberg. The day started on the mild side of chilly and by the time we descended at noon, it felt like warm spring temps on our solar aspect. No rollerballs or other signs of instability were observed despite a lot of solar input. Snow in the gully varied from textured corn to grabby proto-corn to edgeable windboard. Overall not great, not terrible. Our timing was acceptable - nothing was refrozen despite the easterly aspect.
