AIARE 2 group headed up Tele Bowls from Propane tanks. 10:30a leisurely start. Temps well above freezing. Despite the warm day, light winds, South in the am becoming variable in the afternoon kept the snow surface from turning too much and remained firm during our ascent. We dug snow pits at 8600 ft on a North aspect just lookers right of Tele Bowls, ambient temp was 7 celcius. Skies were clear all day. Saw sun affect on solar aspects and some roller balls while touring, but no red flags.
