About Jim Zellers:
One of the true pioneers of big mountain snowboarding, Jim Zellers has been there from the beginning. From helping establish the sport in Tahoe, knocking off first descents all over the Eastern Sierra, exploring Alaska in the early days, leading snowboarding mountaineering expeditions worldwide, and founding High Camp, an internal branding and culture-building company, Jim is an absolute legend. Some of his first snowboard descents include Mt. McKinley. Nepal’s Pumori, New Zealand’s Mt. Cook, Africa’s Mt. Kenya, and Yosemite’s Half Dome. Jim still believes his backyard (The Sierra) is the future of exploration, and while many seek remote locations far from home, Jim knows the Range of Light holds enough adventure for a lifetime.
