Have you ever wondered how the weather affects avalanche conditions? You are not alone; the weather is the biggest driver of avalanche conditions and is notoriously tricky to predict. For the second installment of our Avalanche Awareness Education series, ESAC Forecaster and past weather station technician Brooke Maushund will dive into how weather stations work, our network of stations here on the Eastside, and how these can be tools for backcountry skiing (or throw a wrench in planning!)
