More detailed information about the snowpack:

Skied today from into the June BC to the Ghost Trees/Devils Slide area. NW facing trees off J7 down to Yost Meadow were a mixed bag, some soft snow turns but plenty of grabby zipper crust from yesterday's strong solar on this slope.

On sheltered north facing slopes that are steep enough to be shaded with the high sun, cold soft snow can still be found. Tracks were mostly filled in even from yesterday but no signs of wind related instability could be found in this area.

Solar aspects (SE facing) off Carson Peak had saturated surface snow by 2pm and Devils Slide was filled with tons of rollerball debris that has been coming off the West facing wall (see pic). Heavy, moist snow was a challenge to ski from midway down the run to the trailhead, with potential for ACL tears feeling like the most hazardous aspect to the day's tour.
