More detailed information about the avalanche:

Small wet point release/slough from skier slid into shaded snow patch and caused small dry release. R1-D1.  Large enough though to cause mammoth ski patrol to thoroughly search debris with dog team etc....   With warming temps, clear skies and calm winds be aware of wet slide potential on southerly aspects as snow surface warms.  As this incident begins to demonstrate, small point releases can enlarge and could become dangerous.  Also, of note, please report any avalanche activity near or inbounds, even if no one is caught to save them substantial search efforts.  760-934-0611.
