Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Skied South Peak's NE face and then wrapped around onto the N gullies today, finding generally favorable ski conditions despite the cool and cloudy day.

Temps were above freezing during the day, and cloud cover increased from FEW in the AM to BKN by midday. Trace new snow amounts until 9800', sheltered N aspects from 10500-11500' had up to 5". Even with the warm temps yesterday the surface snow was still preserved precipitation particles.

No sluffing of new snow on the underlying crust was noted today, not enough warming occured to make loose wet activity a concern, and no other signs of instability were observed.
