-Snowline was at 5400ft today driving up Bishop Creek
~1ft new snow @ 7000ft
~2ft new snow @ 8600ft
-Low visibility today of upper slopes above 9000ft. Could not see or identify natural avalanche activity today due to heavy cloud cover up to 2pm.
-Roof Avalanches off many homes in the Aspendell community.
Visibility today was poor to none with no observation of terrain above 9000ft.
Roof Avalanches off several homes in Aspendell community.
With Avalanche Hazard high and visibility low, I did not venture into avalanche terrain today, nor increase exposure travelling under the multiple avalanche paths of Table Mountain.
Skinning was through 2feet of new snow on top of bare ground. This new snow needs time to settle and consolidate before travel both up and down is more reasonable.
Did not acquire very much valuable stability information, nor snowpack conditions due to ardous travel, hazardous avalanche conditions and previous lack of snow covering the landscape here. Tomorrow should reveal more with some clearing skies.
