Went up the Tobacco Flat Rd. moraine to have a look at Mono Jim, McGee, and Mount Morrison post storm. Takeaways:
Not a lot of evidence of recent avalanches in this area. If there were avalanches on these mountainsides then they likely failed early in the storm. One exception is listed below.
Mostly moving observations today, but no signs of instability.
It was still snowing and visibility was obscured past Mt. Aggie and Mt. Morrison North.
Skies were clearing and the air was still over 395 and the Mammoth Airport.
Supportable layers of wind deposited snow made trail breaking manageable.
