Observations

Went for a hike up duck pass and decided to checkout what the snowpack was doing. Found faceted snow on North/NE facing aspects and a supportable melt freeze crust on most E/S/W aspects. Facets could become a concern with a heavy load later in the season. Pika lake is still open and the coulior on Pika peak looked skiable before this last round of snow.
