Toured up from the winter closure at convict lake this morning. About first mile, as noted in previous observation, is bushy but still traversable. Old mans bowl proper had plenty of coverage. Got to the top of the bowl around 11:45 and skied down around 12:30. Mostly shady within the bowl, skied the shady side. Snow was a mix of thin wind crust and soft snow, leading to an overall pleasant ski. No signs of instability on tour up or ski down.
