No obvious signs of instability were observed, limited views of the crest but no visible avalanche activity, lots of settlement cones/rings on the trees. The snow felt like it had very mild diurnal recrystallization in the trees. I used satellite imagery to try and find old-faceted snow, but the snowpack was too deep to access the bottom with the time I had. The deepest CT was performed similar to a Deep Tap Test, however as hasty as it was, I would consider it a CT. Both RP fractures required an additional loading step to achieve a planar surface.
