Trees between Duck Lake and Emerald Lake Summer TrailsObservations
Toured partially up the Duck Pass summer trail to the Emerald Lake cutoff. Variable snow conditions, especially on solar aspects. Faceted snow (4" to 6+" in some places) with excellent skiability in the North facing treed areas around 9,000 to 9,500 feet.
