This was more of a tour, but I did go up and down a N slope of White Wing above Glass Creek Meadows. Good coverage for travel in the valley on soft crusts. Ski pen in the trees was still pretty deep, about 10+ cm. Above treeline the snow was typical sastrugi, easy to skin where low angle. I traveled along the summit ridge thinking about making this tour a loop by going down an east facing gully, but was surprised to see that the snow was all gone, so went back down the way I came up via Glass Creek meadows. Good turns on low angle, sandy, open slopes that were mostly protected from the winds. Below treeline required care as the presence/absence of thin crusts on top of unconsolidated snow became more variable. Made it down without hitting anything.Didn't dig a pit, but coverage on these north facing slopes was good. Probably not the case on more exposed N slopes or other aspects.
