June Lake Area - 8,300 ft elevation trees

Observations

Went for a tour in the trees nearby June Mountain - ripped skins just under 8,300 feet elevation after observing a few instances of instability. At about 30 - 32 degrees slope angle we experienced very small storm slab triggers.

This system is continuing to produce large amounts of snow with winds picking up during our tour. The new snow is coming in lighter than the previous storms. A good day for some coffee and music while the storm does its thing
