i rode the knolls yesterday morning and today (sunday and monday ... conditions are good ... soft powder and minor soft wind slabs ... i skied east and southeast aspects under 31 degrees ... minor sluffing ... bowl on NE side being actively loaded ...

** i write this report for tree well hazard ... huge holes exist throughout the knolls ... areas of big broad trees and tight trees have no-go zones ... there exist areas of tight, small trees that are folded over and protect large holes within very soft unconsolidated snow ... the hazard is significant both in the low-angle and in the steeper terrain **
