Observations

While skiing today I saw a crown in the upper reaches of one of the bowls on one of Kid mountains NE gullies.
I am unsure of how old it is. Couldn’t tell if it had been buried my new storm snow or not.
Skiing was breakable crust with the occasional pow turn.
Snow at my high point of roughly 9,000ft on NE face of kid was 250cm.
