Climbed and skied the N chute on Bishop Point today. I think my partner will submit an obs, so just some quick points and beta photos here.
Snowline in the chute was around 5800-6000'. New snow from yesterday/last night varied from just a dusting to a few inches. Much patchy wind slab on the surface, especially in the guts of the chute, some of it reactive. Surprisingly light wind skin up near the ridge around 9000'. Corn down low skied well in a big avalanche path - this slide must have gone midstorm at some point a while ago; I can't remember seeing a crown in this feature.
