Quick evening tour to just above Tele Bowl (R). Did not see any signs of instability on the approach or descent. Dug a quick test pit at 8800 and found a buried layer at 55cm on a NW aspect but was mostly consolidated and did not react. Enjoyable snow with some thin surface crust in some areas on descent.
