We skied east aspects between 8500-10500' in Bishop Creek looking for corn.
-We saw no new avalanches and experienced no signs of instability.
-No recent snow from the spring duster yesterday. All surfaces were melt-freeze.
-There was a light, cool north breeze, and north and east-facing features never softened while we were there (10 am-1230 pm). Those aspects seem not to have fully transitioned yet either. They were rough, proto-firn spiegle, not smooth melt-freeze crust.
-South and southeast aspects were great corn skiing around noon.
