Toured up into the Lakes Basin this morning. Left the TH a little after 6. Skin up was great minus some frozen off camber aspects which prompted us to put on ski crampons. Other than that skin track is beautiful. Dropped Red Cone bowl at like 0830. Still a bit firm but absolutely skiable. Skinned back up the crest over to TJ bowl and dropped a bit after 11am. Maybe coulda waited another 30 minutes but also very skiable and smooth with just a bit of crust. Top is loaded with cornices obviously so be weary. Snow for the first 100 feet is a bit of a wind slab on top of hard pack so also be aware. But a really good ski morning all in all.
